QRC Lavender Scholarship

The QRC Lavender scholarship shall be awarded to students who affirmatively support LGBTQIA+ individuals and the LGBTQIA+ community as a whole through volunteerism and educational goals. Please note this scholarship will prompt the applicant to answer further questions after completion of the General Application in order for the application to be considered. Duplicate answers already mentioned in the General Application can be included again when answering these specific questions.

  1. Please list any organizations to which you have belonged or situations where you have served as a volunteer in the past six months related to serving LGBTQIA+ individuals or the LGBTQIA+ community. Describe the organization and your role or position with that organization.
  2. Please describe how your current major at Butte College and/or future transfer degree goals will assist you in affirmatively supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals or the LGBTQIA+ community as a whole.
  3. Please discuss why you are deserving of an LGBTQIA+ Scholarship.
